The Best Fat Burner for Weight Loss – Taking it the Natural Way

November 11, 2010
By

Different theories and principles exist on how to lose weight. Several people believe that eating less is the fundamental principle to fat loss. But, this is absolutely wrong! Speeding up the body’s metabolism is the best fat burner. Metabolism is like an engine that functions to burn calories. And there are different ways to activate it and make it work efficiently. Normally, the body burns carbohydrate in the form of glucose, and fat to energize the body. However, this depends on the amount of physical activity that an individual performs or the kind of food eaten recently. When more energy is used, the body burns the stored carbohydrates, fat and protein for fuel even if exercise is not done.

So how can you help your body burn fat fast and efficient? First thing in the morning, workout for at least 30 minutes or you can extend it to an hour. Some studies reveal that the body burns 3x more fat by working out in the morning than any other time of the day, and here’s why: Carbohydrates are basically the body’s main source of energy during the day which you get from the meals you’ve eaten. And as you sleep at night, for six to eight hours, the body consumes all the carbohydrates needed for energy for all the functions taking place in your body even while you are sleeping. Hence, when you wake up in the morning, the carbohydrates needed for energy have depleted and the body will burn the body fat instead for energy.

Working out in the morning is a great way to burn fat fast since your metabolism gets activated after you’ve done your morning workout. Also, this keeps the body’s metabolism elevated for the entire day. With this, you’ll be able to burn more calories and eventually lose more weight.  Therefore, there is a big difference between working out in the morning and at night. A night workout may still allow you to burn fat but the metabolism slows down while you sleep. Remember that your metabolism is at its slowest when you sleep. Most likely, you’ll miss out the extra fat that you can burn during day if you prefer to exercise at night.

The best fat burning tools are your muscles. Therefore, you need to increase your muscle mass. Fitness experts say that this is one best way to lose fat. To simply put, extra muscles allow the body to burn more energy. When you have more muscles than body fat, then you’ll burn extra energy and more of the stored body fat. So how do you get more muscles? You simply need to train the long, lean, and firm muscles you have to replace the lost muscle tissue to aid in faster metabolism.

Jorge Cruise’s 3-Hour Diet Plan

Jorge Cruise’s 3-Hour Diet Plan

Sounds misleading doesn’t it? Can you lose weight in three hours? Can you be on a diet for only three hours a day? Read on to find the real deal about this diet plan.

Created by Jorge Cruise, the diet plan focuses on the time frame of how often you are allowed to eat, which is in this case, every three hours. According to Cruise, eating regularly speeds up your metabolism and keeps it active. When it threatens to fall, then it signals the time to add more fuel to your body.

It might seem like a lot to eat every three hours, yet it doesn’t really seem like it after considering the number of hours you stay awake. In the course of the day, you will lose weight while eating three meals and snacks in between, as long as you observe a particular calorie limit for every meal.

What You Should Do

First off, the 3-Hour Diet plan imposes a calorie limit for every meal. Food eaten during meals and snacks should not exceed 400 and 100 calories respectively. A leeway in the form of a 50-calorie night snack is allowed for dieters weighing less than 200 pounds.

What type of food are you allowed to eat then? Almost anything, really. No food category is banned from your daily diet as long as the calorie limits are observed. Cruise, however, recommends that you consume food hailing from all major food groups. Focus on eating protein, fats, carbohydrates, and low fat dairy: this means eating lean meat, poultry, fish, nuts, beans, yogurt, whole grains and oils like olive and flaxseed.

There is a catch to the diet though: you will be asked to measure your serving sizes for every meal. Doing so will ensure that you are getting just the right amount of calories. Serving sizes are necessary to any diet because they encourage portion control and prevent you from overeating.

An illustration of a 3-hour plate can be seen in the book. The plate will facilitate your diet plan because it will help you visualize the area that needs to be occupied by each food group in every meal. It will also help you come up with ideas for healthy snacks.

Though there is not much importance given on exercise for the diet plan, Cruise still included a special exercise program that will aid you in losing your extra weight. To monitor your progress, you will be asked to monitor your weight on a weekly basis, which is best done on Sundays. You can now see if the diet plan is working for you by this time.

To see if you are making progress, you are asked to weigh yourself once a week, preferably on Sundays.

A reward system is incorporated to the program. A 100-calorie allowance for each snack can be added on a weekly basis when you’re shedding weight. Otherwise, an amount of 100 calories will be deducted from your snacks.

If you are looking for a well-structured diet plan, then the Jorge Cruise’s 3-Hour Diet Plan might just be perfect for you.
