Jorge Cruise’s 3-Hour Diet Plan

Sounds misleading doesn’t it? Can you lose weight in three hours? Can you be on a diet for only three hours a day? Read on to find the real deal about this diet plan.

Created by Jorge Cruise, the diet plan focuses on the time frame of how often you are allowed to eat, which is in this case, every three hours. According to Cruise, eating regularly speeds up your metabolism and keeps it active. When it threatens to fall, then it signals the time to add more fuel to your body.

It might seem like a lot to eat every three hours, yet it doesn’t really seem like it after considering the number of hours you stay awake. In the course of the day, you will lose weight while eating three meals and snacks in between, as long as you observe a particular calorie limit for every meal.

What You Should Do

First off, the 3-Hour Diet plan imposes a calorie limit for every meal. Food eaten during meals and snacks should not exceed 400 and 100 calories respectively. A leeway in the form of a 50-calorie night snack is allowed for dieters weighing less than 200 pounds.

What type of food are you allowed to eat then? Almost anything, really. No food category is banned from your daily diet as long as the calorie limits are observed. Cruise, however, recommends that you consume food hailing from all major food groups. Focus on eating protein, fats, carbohydrates, and low fat dairy: this means eating lean meat, poultry, fish, nuts, beans, yogurt, whole grains and oils like olive and flaxseed.

There is a catch to the diet though: you will be asked to measure your serving sizes for every meal. Doing so will ensure that you are getting just the right amount of calories. Serving sizes are necessary to any diet because they encourage portion control and prevent you from overeating.

An illustration of a 3-hour plate can be seen in the book. The plate will facilitate your diet plan because it will help you visualize the area that needs to be occupied by each food group in every meal. It will also help you come up with ideas for healthy snacks.

Though there is not much importance given on exercise for the diet plan, Cruise still included a special exercise program that will aid you in losing your extra weight. To monitor your progress, you will be asked to monitor your weight on a weekly basis, which is best done on Sundays. You can now see if the diet plan is working for you by this time.

To see if you are making progress, you are asked to weigh yourself once a week, preferably on Sundays.

A reward system is incorporated to the program. A 100-calorie allowance for each snack can be added on a weekly basis when you’re shedding weight. Otherwise, an amount of 100 calories will be deducted from your snacks.

If you are looking for a well-structured diet plan, then the Jorge Cruise’s 3-Hour Diet Plan might just be perfect for you.

It’s very simple. Don’t think of the idea of a diet, but think of it as a new life. Instead of eating foods high in sugars, white flour and saturated fat, go with fruits, vegetables, whole wheats, fish, lean meats, nuts and beans. In addition to eating less, you also need to exercise more. Start off at 1-2 times per week and work your way up to 3-5 times per week.
